Many of you will probably manage to figure out the meaning of each of these words as they relate to me, but what do they all have in common?
But before I go there, I will use them to give you some information about what have been happening in my life recently.
Job
I have got a new job! 1. April I started working for Crayon, where I will work primarily with automation. That means that I will be working closely with Jan Egil Ring, which most of you have probably heard about.
Conference
As you might know by now, I’m presenting at PowerShell Conference Europe 2016, but apart from that I have also been involved in organizing the conference itself. My main responsibility have been the design and development of the website, together with Ryan Yates.
Hero
Yesterday I found out that I have been presented with the PowerShell Heroes 2016 award, by powershell.org. I’m deeply honored by this. And congratulations to the other Heroes as well!
So what do all of these things have in common? Well, they all are things that have been made available to me thanks to hard, dedicated and targeted work within my chosen professional field.
I feel very lucky that I can say that my hobby is also my work, and that I have been given recognition for my contributions to the community and that I have been given the opportunity to speak at this years European PowerShell conference.
If you set yourself a goal, and work tirelessly towards it, good things will happen 🙂
This have been a different kind of blog post than I usually write, but I will be back with some more technical PowerShell-related posts soon, I promise!
